She is my heart, my little Queen, Aminata Foday Kamara! I love her sooooo much! I almost know just what she thinks and feels because at 9 years old this was me, underprivileged with nothing but a dream of becoming a Designer. This is why I will build a design school for underprivileged little girls like myself, Jenn Cole, and Aminata who has the talent to sew/design and a dream of becoming a Designer. Yes, I was underprivileged as well, so this goes very deep for me!
I will invest all my time, money, and energy into building the “JennCole Design School”in Ghana/NY strictly for underprivileged female to educate, train, mentor and coach them to rise above their circumstances and become successful Designers & business owners in the Fashion Industry to create jobs for themselves, their families and bring about economic development and growth for their communities.
I’ve seen so much talent in Ghana and I want to see them become international Designers just like any other designer with their products distributed worldwide in department stores, boutiques, malls, Macy’s, etc. The lowest paying Cut & Sew jobs in NY pay $95,560 per year! Imagine that?! This would help a lot of families and take a lot of women off the streets.
If you would like support us in building the “JennCole Design School” please click on the link and donate to a great cause! Help build up our own families!
